The Video Music Box 25th Anniversary Concert took place Friday, July 18, 2008 at 7:00pm in Central Park. Video Music Box was a show that many New Yorkers grew up watching. The host of the show, Ralph McDaniels, had character and certain flare about that made this show a instant hit. April 1984 marked the beginning of Video Music Box, s show that is still airing today! This show was the FIRST to feature Hip-Hop Videos, making it legendary. 
Sugar Hill Gang Concert I had a great time at the concert! Even though most of the acts were local NY rappers that I have not heard of, it stillwas great. The acts at the show were: DJ Jazzy Joyce, The Crash Crew, TSki-Valley & Spoonie Gee, Luv Bug Starski, Sugar Hill Gang, Joe Ski Love, Entouch, Special Ed, Dana Dane, Naughty By Nature, DJ Clark Kent, Ralph Ray Dejon, OC, Chubb Rock, Jeru Da Damaja, Milk Dee, DJ Chuck Chillout, Jeff Redd, Red Alert, DJ Kid Capri, Nice N Smooth.
Naughty By Nature The people at this concert was so filled with life and enthusiasm about the artist that came on the stage. It was a good mix of the young and the older. I personally think events like this links generations together. Before the performances I sat on the lawn and soacked in some rays and trust me their were RAYS. It was a hot and sunny day. The area became quickly crowded with many people waiting to hear some good music. One thing I thought was nice about the event was that in between acts you still was entertained, the played oldies such as Frankie Beverly "Before I Let Go". If you all did not know that is my SONG!! I always do a little two step to it.
Overall, I had a great time and I look forward to the 26th Anniversary Concert.

That concert was one of the best I have been to and it was free. Loved it!
oh my gosh.. that had to be amazing!! I wish I was there cos I'm such a BIG fan of REAL hip hop && Naughty by Nature?!?! Ahh my gosh.. I know they rip tha show!!
