Prep On A Budget.

The American Prep has always been associated with the North East WASP lifestyle or the Southern Prep.  It's now 2010 and prep has evolved further from those who have to have a certain bloodline or have a certain amount of net worth. With brands such as Ralph Lauren and J. Crew, it is becoming a little bit more obtainable. Although these brands have lines that are more pricier they also have lines that are more affordable such as Ralph Lauren Rugby. Just because of the preppy stereotype many people think that its an expensive look. Well, I'm here to tell you it's not. The good thing about this look is that it will NEVER go out of style. So you could essentially wear something your father wore when he was younger and still wear it today and it would work. This leads me to thrift stores/consignment shops. This places are a good start for the prep-in-training.  You can find Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers, J. Press, J. Crew and more for great prices.
