Casio G-Shock’s Shock The World 2010 stormed into Manhattan the other night (Monday August 2, 2010) with a performance by new Baby-G brand ambassador, Ke$ha and guess who was invited? Yours truly, The Southern Gentleman. The high-energy performance capped off a day-long celebration of the timepiece powerhouse that included a press conference announcing Ke$ha’s new role with the brand and the launch of a new timepiece division for the U.S., Edifice represented by brand ambassador Bryan Greenberg.
The red carpet stretched down New York City’s 34th street to welcome throngs of G-Shock supporters including singer Kelly Rowland, Oscar-award nominee Gabourey Sidibe, television host Wendy Williams, “The Bachelor” Jake Pavelka, Katrina Bowden, Tyson Beckford-Hunt, and newly announced G-Shock brand ambassadors L.A. Laker Lamar Odom (with wife Khloe Kardashian), actor Bryan Greenberg, and skateboarder Stevie Williams.
In addition to launching precision-based timepiece Edifice in the U.S. market and a fresh portfolio of Baby-G’s, G-Shock continues to push the envelope with new technological advances and unique designs in the core G-Shock brand. This commitment to driving the brand forward keeps G-Shock above the competition.
