Spring is here! Time to bring out those nautical striped shirts and thin sweaters. Every since I was little I always had a fascination with boating. For a large period of my youthhood my room was decked out in full nautical theme with authentic row boat oars. This has transferred into my adulthood minus the lighthouses and striped walls but into my wardrobe.
The great thing about fashion is being able to have fun with it. This mid-Victorian style is still prevalent in today's trends. Think New England and British sailors when trying to pull the look together.
Try pairing some straight leg khakis with a stripe tee along with a blue short pea trenchcoat. Shoes of choice, boat shoes.
